Different systems
Buildings, products and services operate through separate interfaces and standards.
Silent brand film playing.
A silent ten-second brand film crossfades between an inclusive living space, an accessible entrance and a responsive home. It contains no spoken or essential information. Pausing or reduced-motion settings display the still hero image.
BARRIER-FREE OPERATING SYSTEM
Accessibility should not depend on a specific device, manufacturer, or building system. BFOS connects buildings, devices, services, and accessibility needs into one manufacturer-independent operating framework.
THE PROBLEM
A doorway, elevator, restroom, kiosk, room control and evacuation guide may each be accessible on their own. Everyday life still becomes fragmented when they cannot understand the same person, context or task.
Buildings, products and services operate through separate interfaces and standards.
Accessibility needs shift by person, environment, time and temporary condition.
Users repeatedly explain, reconfigure or adapt themselves at every point of service.
MANUFACTURER-INDEPENDENT FRAMEWORK
BFOS is designed as an operating layer between people and the systems already present in a space. It does not require one brand, one device type or the wholesale replacement of installed infrastructure.
Mobility, sensory, cognitive and situational requirements
Reusable preferences, permissions and context
Interpret, coordinate, execute and improve
Buildings · devices · products · services
A common operating framework allows different systems to respond with continuity while each manufacturer retains its own hardware and technology environment.
LIFE ACCESSIBILITY
BFOS begins with the activities that make up an ordinary day—not with a single impairment category or a single screen.

AI-ASSISTED DESIGN REVIEW
BFOS extends upstream into design. AI-assisted review can examine architectural drawings for accessibility-related spatial conditions, flag areas for attention and support professional review before construction and operation.
The public site describes the concept and collaboration scope only; regulatory judgment remains with qualified professionals and authorities.

APPLICATIONS
Homes, apartments and community facilities
Government, cultural and transport environments
Hotels, resorts and inclusive guest journeys
Hospitals, senior living and care environments
Kiosks, unmanned retail and everyday services
Accessible information and response during emergencies
ROUND · PLATFORM & IP
ROUND defines the BFOS platform architecture, accessibility experience, operating model and intellectual-property strategy. Hardware, construction and service technologies can remain manufacturer-independent and be integrated through collaboration.
The shared structure that links needs, spaces and services
Task-based journeys designed around equal daily life
A framework for deployment, validation and continuous improvement
GLOBAL PARTNERSHIP
ROUND welcomes international collaboration where BFOS can be tested, connected, researched and adapted to real environments.
